About MeBorn Celicia LaShay Bell in Quincy, Florida in 1973, I am a military brat with a Christian upbringing who spent her junior and senior high school years in Niceville, Florida, near Eglin, Air Force Base, the place I call "home." I graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English, concentration in Creative Writing (1995) and an M.S. in English Education (2005). I live in Tallahassee, Florida with my beautiful, twelve-year old daughter. Fiction is my first love.
